OUR PROGRAMS
MARTIAL ARTS (AGES 3 - ADULT)
Velocity Martial Arts Academy classes are available for Ages 3 - 4, K - Grade 1, Grades 2 - 3, Grades 4 - 6/7 and Teen to Adult. Our classes include a combination of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Kenpo Karate, Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) techniques, drills and sparring. Classes are co-ed and open to both recreational and competitive students. A typical class includes a warm-up, stretching, fitness, kickboxing and jiu jitsu / grappling techniques and drills, self-defense, sparring and grappling.
New and returning students are welcome to register at anytime. Registration fees are calculated for 1 class per week OR 2 classes per week and will be calculated based on your start date. Registration Fees can be paid by e-transfer to velocityclarenville@gmail.com. Please include the "Students Name" in the memo section of your transfer.
FRIDAY FUN NIGHT (AGES 5 - 13)
Everyone loves Friday Fun Night!! Kids, parents, staff. Come and run and play and get some energy out in an unstructured way from 7-9pm every Friday night. Registration is required to participate in this program but it is on a drop in basis only. Please complete the registration form above before your child attends and then simply sign your child in at the door when you arrive. The cost is $10 per session. Please note that kids should be dropped off no earlier than 5 minutes before opening as we often have other programing running until that time.
FIT KIDZ (AGES <5)
Fit KidZ is now MONDAY from 11:30am - 12:30pm. At Fit KidZ children get to play with their friends and enjoy the bouncy castles and foam equipment, hop, run, color, play and much more! This is a drop in program but registration is required. Please register above. Cost is $10 per child per session.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS,
ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM YOU WAIVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS (INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE). In consideration of being permitted to participate in any way in the activities of VELOCITY (Hereinafter "VELOCITY"): I / We understand that there are risks and dangers associated with participation in martial arts or events and activities which could result in bodily injury, partial and/or total disability, paralysis and even death. The social and economic losses and/or damages, which could result from these risks and dangers could be severe. These risks and dangers may be caused by the action, inaction or negligence of the participants or the action, inaction or negligence of others, including, but not limited to, VELOCITY. There may be other risks not known to us or are not reasonably foreseeable at this time. I/We agree to the terms of the waiver, release, covenant not to sue and indemnity agreement as set forth herein below. I/We, hereby both freely and voluntarily give my/our consent and approval for participation in ANY of VELOCITY sports programs or related activities, and further, agree individually, and/or on behalf of my/our child, to the terms of the waiver, release, covenant not to sue and indemnity agreement as set forth herein below. I/We assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation, including, but not limited to, physical injury and transportation to and from activities; and I/we hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless VELOCITY, the program coaches, sponsors, supervisors, participants, person(s) transporting me and, VELOCITY members, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents or any other representatives of VELOCITY, from and against any and all causes of action, claims, demands, losses, expenses or liability of any nature whatsoever, in law or in equity, arising from the activities contemplated hereby. In the same capacities, I covenant and agree not to sue VELOCITY, the program coaches, sponsors, supervisors, participants, and person transporting me, VELOCITY members, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents or any other representatives of VELOCITY, for any such causes of action, claims, demands, losses, expenses or liability. In case of injury or illness, I/We give my/our consent to emergency transportation and the administration of any first aid, medical and/or dental treatment. I/We accept responsibility for the payment of any such emergency transportation and treatment expenses and any related or subsequent medical bills. EACH OF THE UNDERSIGNED further expressly agrees that the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the Province in which the event is conducted and that if any portion is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding continue in full legal force and effect. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE, OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME AND INTEND MY SIGNATURE TO BE COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
