ROLLES GRACIE is a 4TH DEGREE BLACK BELT, 4X PAN AM CHAMPION, ADCC MEDALIST, IBJJF CHAMPION, and UFC & MMA VETRAN with an MMA Record of 8-4, with 8 wins by submissions. Rolles is the grandson of Carlos Gracie Sr., the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and son of Rolls Gracie, who is widely considered to be the Gracie family’s most legendary Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. Rolles is physically the largest in the history of the Gracie clan, standing at 6’ 4” and weighing just over 240 pounds. He is a fourth-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a multi-title holding champion, not only BJJ, but also in Judo and submission wrestling.

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION
In-House Grappling (Jiu Jitsu) Tournament - June 1st
We will be holding an In-house Grappling tournament at Velocity on June 1st. Registration is now open. All students are encourage to participate. Divisions will be based on age, weight and experience. We will hold weigh-ins the morning of the tournament to ensure all competitors are in the correct divisions. Please complete the form below to register. A schedule with approximate division start times and point scoring system can be found below. Students should arrive 10 minutes before their division start time.

Takedown - 2 points
Sweeps - 2 points
Knee on Stomach - 2 points
Guard Pass - 3 points
Mount - 4 points
Rear Mount - 4 points
Division Start Times
9:00am: Doors open
9:30am: Grades K - 1
10:45am: Grades 2 - 3
12:00pm: Grades 4 - 7
The registration fee is $35 per student and should be emailed to velocityclarenville@gmail.com at the time of completing the registration form. Please note the name of the student in the memo section. Spectators are invited to attend. Spectator fee of $5 payable at the door.
